Ketosis diet

A condition in which carbohydrate starvation of cells develops is known as ketosis. Diets low in carbohydrates are some of the ways to reduce symptoms, control and treatment of this condition.

Diet menu of people with ketosis includes lard, olive oil, coconut oil, beef tallow and ghee. These fats are ideal for cooking dishes at high temperatures. It should be noted that very high temperatures reduce useful properties of fats.

Mayonnaise, avocado oil, and various nut butters can be added in salads and cold dishes. Consumption of oils from grape seeds, corn, sunflower and rapeseed should be restricted.

There are many reasons why the Ketogenic diet surpasses diets low in fat. The main of them is increased intake of proteins. The Ketogenic diet is also good for those people for whom improvement of insulin sensitivity and control of blood sugar level are important.
